Biography
Edward George Walmisley was born on 26 December 1778. He and Amelia Matilda were married on 9 November 1810. He and Mary Selena Sybella Bradshaw were married in 1825. He died on 19 September 1835, at age 56.
Attended Westminster School and was a chorister. Appointed one of the four 'other clerks' in parliament office in 1799, first occurring as such in directories in 1800; appointed Clerk of the Journals in 1819 on death of Edward Parratt. Remained in office until his death. Earl Marshall's Gold Staff Officer at teh Coronations of King George IV and William IV. Granted coat of arms for use of himself and all descendents of his father.
